August 2026 Care Team Member of the Month: PSW Oluwatoyin George

The Care Company is proud to recognize Oluwatoyin George, Personal Support Worker (PSW), as our August 2026 Care Team Member of the Month!

Oluwatoyin, affectionately known as Olu, consistently demonstrates an exceptional commitment to the clients she supports. Through her compassion, dependability, and person-centred approach to care, she has earned tremendous praise from both our clients and Clinical Team.

Olu takes the time to truly understand each client as an individual. She learns their unique needs, preferences, routines, and goals and incorporates them into the care she provides. Her thoughtful approach helps clients feel comfortable, respected, and supported while promoting their dignity and independence.

This year, Olu has also played an important role in supporting clients through The Care Company’s Bundled High Intensity Home Care (BHIHC) program. Working with clients who have higher and more complex care needs requires attentiveness, adaptability, strong communication, and collaboration with the broader care team. Olu has consistently demonstrated these qualities while providing individualized support that keeps each client’s safety, comfort, and well-being at the centre of her care.

Clients and members of our Clinical Team have shared very positive feedback about Olu, recognizing not only her knowledge and compassion but also her ability to understand and respond to the individual needs of those she supports. She has a natural ability to build meaningful rapport and trust with her clients while maintaining the professionalism and appropriate boundaries that are so important in home care.

Olu also demonstrates a genuine commitment to professional growth. She actively participates in training opportunities offered through The Care Company, continually expanding her knowledge, strengthening her skills, and looking for ways to enhance the care she provides.

What stands out most about Olu is the genuine passion she brings to her role as a PSW. Her work reflects what compassionate, person-centred home care should look like: seeing the individual behind the care plan and making their safety, well-being, comfort, dignity, and independence a priority every day.
